Series 5000 Pinch Valve ( Aluminum AJ )
SUGGESTED SPECIFICATIONS

The Pinch Valve shall be of the fully enclosed body, direct loaded pressure jacket type. Actuation pressure may be pneumatic or hydraulic.

The Valve Body shall be a one piece aluminum construction, any seems or joints will be welded. The Valve Body shall be capable of withstanding 125 psi(g) air pressure . The Valve shall be flanged with through bolt holes, flange drilling shall be in accordance with ANSI 125/ 150 lb. unless otherwise indicated.
The lightweight aluminum valve will be provided with one female pipe fitting port for use as pressure and drain connections.

The Pinch Valve Sleeve should be of the fully flanged, fabric reinforced type. Reinforcement should be of high tensile synthetic cord and shall be externally protected by a minimum of 1/16" thick neoprene.
The Sleeve shall be lightweight and flexible to facilitate "pull-through" installation into the one piece valve body.

The Sleeve port shall be circular and match the pipe diameter providing 100% flow area. Elastomer selection and design pressure will be determined by the service conditions.

The Pinch Valve manufacturer must maintain a Registered Quality Assurance Program which meets the requirements of ISO 9001.

The Pinch Valves shall be manufactured by Elasto-Valve Rubber Products Inc. located in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.
